Master Chef has taken the world by storm.
The show took the public behind the scenes of a chefs life in the kitchen and encouraged the public to spend more time making good food, regardless of their level of skill.
Cooking is generally thought as too hard and too much effort, but Master Chef showed that the end result is far more rewarding and satisfying than any take-away meal that is on offer.
From watching the show, we are able to gain more perspective of what exactly is involved on cooking; the stress, the creativity, intuition, the time and skill.
